Our history
A place with
deep roots
I Limori has been part of our family since the early 1970s, when Claudio moved to this corner of the countryside near Pisa as a child. What was once a small farm gradually became our family home, shaped over the years by the people who lived here and built it, one piece at a time.
Claudio grew up here with his parents, closely connected to the land. Years later, Cristina joined him from nearby Lucca, and their daughter Irene was born and raised here.
In recent years, we decided to open the doors of I Limori and welcome guests, sharing not only a place to stay, but a small part of the land and the story that have shaped our family.
These photographs hold fragments of that story — the house, the garden and the people who made this place feel like home.
The name I Limori comes from the old name of the road that once ran through this countryside — a small piece of local history we chose to carry forward.
